Me

Howdy! I’m Jedidiah. I live in the wonderfully windiest of cities Chicago IL. I love burritos, improv, climbing, sci fi, and the way the wind caresses me in the winter.

Art

I'm a 3D artist focused on environment art and hard surface modeling, working primarily in Blender and Unreal Engine.

I'm currently a remote contract artist for Electric Saint, a London-based indie studio, where I create heavily stylized vehicles and hard surface assets for an upcoming game. Most of my work is built for real-time use, with an emphasis on clean topology, optimization, and making assets that fit a cohesive visual style.

Outside of client work, I spend most of my time making science fiction art. Something about spaceships, lasers, and mechs makes me freaking pumped. My portfolio reflects that, although I occasionally get distracted by other ideas.

My interest in environment art started with small dioramas. I like building scenes that hint at a story without explaining everything outright. A room, a vehicle, or a forgotten corner of a map can say a lot through composition, lighting, and the objects left behind.

I got into 3D art during the pandemic and learned most of it on my own. Before that, I had experience with CAD in high school and later worked as an AV programmer in Nashville, Tennessee. That technical background still shapes the way I work, especially when it comes to building modular assets, solving production problems, and balancing visual quality with performance.

I've also completed Thiago Klafke's Environment Art Mastery course, which helped refine my approach to modular environments, trim sheets, material workflows, and set dressing.

If you're looking for someone who enjoys building stylized worlds, believable environments, or just an unreasonable number of sci-fi props, feel free to get in touch.
